A Culture of Truth and Honesty

Christ is God's haven for mankind. In him you can have assurance of salvation and eternal life. In fact, with the exception of Christians, no other religious group can confidently claim assurance of salvation and eternal life. John Wesley was right when he said, "All can know they are saved." Having full assurance of salvation and eternal life is a mark of spiritual maturity. 

One evidence of assurance of salvation and eternal life is a culture of truth and honesty. You do the truth and tell the truth when you have assurance of salvation and eternal life. Some people are not able to do the truth and tell the truth because they don't have assurance in themselves that they are a new creation, and that they have a new nature - the nature of truth and honesty inherited through Christ. 

Falsehood and deception are signs of doubt or weakness in heart and mind concerning one's own salvation and eternal life. It's high time the church disciplined herself towards a culture of truth and honesty, especially the church in Ghana and for that matter, Africa. 

In Christ Jesus, every soul has a right to freedom from deception.

    The Spotless Agenda is a move towards a spotless church. Study, reason and question (srq) Scripture to find evidence of the truth.

 The Gifts of the Holy Spirit  Ephesians 4:11-12 NIV [11] So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, [12] to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. PILLARS OF A GLORIOUS CHURCH

"The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John." (Revelation 1:1 NIV) Every church, no matter the denomination or doctrine, must look so much the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the head and the church is his body. The two parts must be identical in nature and behaviour.   Nature wise, the church is created in the image of Christ, but behaviour wise, the church must learn to live like Christ.
