Be perpetual in your spotlessness
Ephesians 5:27, KJV
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Easy English
So then he could bring it to himself as a beautiful church, without any bad or dirty mark on it. He could bring it to himself as a completely good church, with nothing wrong.
Ephesians 5:25-32 appears to be Paul's most profound message on marriage. He actually enlightens husbands and wives on what it means to be a husband or a wife. A husband is like Christ to his wife. A wife is like the church to her husband.
He dwells on the beautiful spiritual union between Christ and his Beloved, the church, to draw a husband and his wife into the same magnitude of love between Christ and the church. If a husband and his wife will situate their marital union in the context of Christ and his church, there promises to be happiness and glory in their marriage even when there are challenges.
The emphasis of this passage is on the Christian - his nature and his relationship to Christ. First and foremost, Christ wants what looks like a marital union with you, the Christian. He wants very much to present you to himself as his glorious bride - beautiful, adorable and spotless to be precise.
In semitic marriage rites, a husband is much honoured when his bride appears in the best of her beauty on the day of marriage. This is because he is presenting her before many witnesses, especially his own father and mother, who themselves understand the value of a virtuous woman. Every man wishes that the witnesses will look at his bride and say, "Wow! She's glorious!"
Although inner beauty is better, outward appearance is also key for a healthy relationship and marriage. So both are important.
Christ is concerned about both your intrinsic glory and your outward appearance on the day of marriage in heaven. Already burning with undying love for you, he gave himself for you so that his blood would be used to wash you pure and clean, thus rendering you spotless within and without. The good news is that you are completely spotless! Glory to Jesus!
So now, what more? Be perpetual in your spotlessness. Your garment is already white. This refers to your righteousness. It is like that of God himself. You don't have to do more right things to earn more credits of righteousness. You have received perfect righteousness through Christ. However, you have to be perpetual in it. This is all that Jesus wants from you as a Christian; that you will be perpetual in your spotlessness.
There's no stain on you. No spot or wrinkle or any such thing as to render you like a filthy rag before God. You are as pure as a bride in all her beauty and glory. This is the consciousness that Jesus wants you to carry always. In this consciousness, you don't allow anything that lurks its way around you in order to stain you. Sin was the stain that used to be in and on you before you got born again, but now holiness is the nature of you and the fragrance on you having been born again in Christ.
What if you commit a sinful act? Does it count as a spot on you?
Sin doesn't spot your intrinsic holiness and righteousness but it does make your divine nature inconspicuous for people to see and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Sin puts a dark halo around you making you appear like a devil but actually you are more than an angel. You are Christlike. This is why you must be spiritually disciplined so as to not allow sin to darken the glorious halo that your Father has put around you. People seeing you and giving glory to your Father is very important to your Father. Satisfy his heart in this. Glory to God!

The Spotless Agenda is a move towards a spotless church. Study, reason and question (srq) Scripture in order to find evidence of the truth. Remember, this is achievable only through the Holy Spirit.
