Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!(Colossians 1:27 TPT) Christ lives in you with the complete fulness of God. His glory overflows within you, filling people and places with the riches of his glory, namely, love, peace, righteousness and joy among other eternal possessions.  If Christ be in you, your life is filled with perfect happiness, because he floods you with expectation of glory. Thus, you do not despair of life. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21 NIV). The glory to which God has called you is eternal, that is, it lasts forever; does not fade, does not rust, does not rot, does not depreciate, does not deteriorate, does not diminish, does not vanish and does not get finished. What kind of substances fit these traits? Only heavenly substances!  "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God" (Colossians 3:1). Where is Christ seated? Heaven, where God is. He is seated on the right hand of God, meaning he has assumed his office as the sovereign of the universe. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV) .  The journey to glorious destinations in Christ begins from the cross. The cross represents crisis. Crisis means turning point—a crucial or decisive point in one's course of life. At the cross, there are only two decisions to make. They are, to lose your life to gain it forever or to save your life to lose it forever. This is why the cross represents crisis.  At the cross we make a decision to die to live or to live to die. It is a dire decision. Anybody who has made decision for Christ has died a painful death to self. This is like partaking in Christ's death on the cross.  Do not suppose that being a Christian means exemption from trouble. Scripture says emphatically that "we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22 KJV). Note that it is not a little tribulation but much tribulation. We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me (1 Timothy 1:8‭-‬11 NIV).
