CHRIST IN YOU: THE ASSURANCE OF ETERNAL GLORY (II)

Spiritual Assurances

I’ve written this letter to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you will be assured and know without a doubt that you have eternal life (1 John 5:13 TPT).

Christ in you does not merely answer to your expectations, but also, fills you with assurances. By virtue of Christ in you, you have all spiritual assurances.

Assurance of forgiveness of sin

If you have received Christ, then your sins—past, present and future—are forgiven.

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38 NIV).

Assurance of justification

If Christ be in you, then you stand justified in every spiritual trial. This means that you are not condemnable now or ever throughout all eternities.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 NIV).

Assurance of righteousness

If Christ be in you, you have become the righteousness of God.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV).

Assurance of eternal life

If Christ be in you, then you have eternal life as a gift from God.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23 NIV).

Assurance of inheritance

If Christ be in you, then you are the heir of God entitled to all his spiritual and heavenly estates.

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory (Romans 8:17 NIV).

Assurance of glory

If Christ be in you, then you are glorified. To be glorified here means to be filled with God's glory.

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified (Romans 8:30 NIV).

Assurance of power and wisdom

If Christ be in you, then you are filled with the power of God for divine health and the wisdom of God for divine wealth.

but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24 NIV).

Assurance of God's presence

Moses declared to Jehovah that if his presence did not God with them, then they would not move an inch, signifying the important of God's presence in man's life. The good news is, if Christ be in you, God's presence lives with you and dwells in you.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you (John 14:16‭-‬17 NIV).

Assurance of name in the Lamb's book of life

The Lamb's book of life contains names of those who have eternal life in Christ. If Christ be in you, then your name is written in the Lamb's book of life.

Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 21:27 NIV).

These and other spiritual assurances revealed in scripture fill our faith with glorious riches, making us completely joyful and confident in Christ.

If there are any riches to be distributed to the world in these days and times, they are royal riches from God that conform to the good news of God's glory in man. And if there are any verities to be given to the body of Christ in these days and times, they are verities that teach, guide, inspire, encourage and motivate God's glorified children to put out the glory that is in them so that the world may see it and give praise to God, the Father.

Preach the glorious gospel. Teach Christ-In-You Verities!
