NEW CREATION LIFE

"For you have acquired new creation life which is continually being renewed into the likeness of the One who created you; giving you the full revelation of God" (Colossians 3:10 TPT). 

Did you know that God wants you to have full revelation of him? A father who does not want his own child to fully know and fully understand him is sinister. God, the Father, is not sinister. 

Contrary to popular opinion that no one can fully understand God, and that he ceases to be God if he can be fully understood, the Father wants you to fully know him and fully understand him so that you will become completely like him. 

What the Father wants for you is intimacy with you. Intimacy requires that you fully know and fully understand each other. Intimacy with a person does not necessarily involve sexuality. Instead, it involves mutual understanding. 

He could not have this kind of intimacy with the fallen human, so he recreated you and gave you the new creation life. The new creation life is a life of intimacy with God, the Father. 

God wants you to know him more and more completely so that you will become completely like him. The new creation life is about knowing God completely, understanding God completely and living like God completely. So then, refute any person who says that you cannot fully understand God. They are speaking religiously, but you are not a religious being, you are a spiritual being capable of having intimacy with the Holy Spirit. 

Jesus says that whatsoever is born of human is human, and whatsoever is born of the Spirit is spiritual (John 3:6). Though you are human, you have been born again by the Holy Spirit, and so, you are a spiritual being. The good news about your new birth experience is that you can fully know and fully understand God, your Father. 

Religious people find it difficult to hear God's voice. They are spiritually dead so they cannot hear the voice of the living God. You are alive through the Spirit, and so you can hear and relate to the voice of the Father. So do not listen to religious voices but the Spirit's voice. The Spirit's voice will open your mind and heart to clearly see and understand God, your Father. 

Paul wrote, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV). 

Your old life has gone. The new creation life is here. The new creation life is designed to grow up by knowledge not by physical food. Knowledge because you are a new living product in Christ, and so you must fully know who you are and how you operate in Christ who is like the new environment of the new creation life. 

Without knowledge of the new creation life, you will live as the old creation lives and not accomplish God's purpose for your new creation life. 

The new creation life is loaded with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Think of any good thing in heaven. It is yours in Christ. 

You have power to walk in divine health and wisdom to walk in divine wealth in Christ. You don't lack any good thing in Christ. This is the reason why you must shift from 'asking-centric' prayers to 'thankful-centric' prayers. 

Be thankful for receiving all spiritual blessings that you believe God can and does supply. They are already yours in the new creation life that you have received. 

Instead of asking the Father for favour, thank him for his favour in, on and around you. Instead of sowing seeds to attract divine favour, give offerings in honour of the Father, for this is right. All things are yours, whether they are in heaven or on earth.

The new creation life overcomes diseases and infirmities. As a human being you are prone to pathogens. Pathogens are disease-causing organisms. But as a spiritual being you have divine power in you that overcomes every pathogen. Therefore, you must not be quiet about perennial ailments in your body. Healing is your inheritance as a child of God. Make use of your faith to overpower sicknesses in your body.

The new creation life is laden with divine wisdom. How can you wallow in poverty all your days on earth? Christ, who is the life in you, is all-wise. He fills you with ideas and power to make wealth. You only have to open your mind to receive light that will reveal the glory of the new creation life that you have received. 

Many Christians have closed their minds to spiritual insight and understanding, and so they do not see changes in their living. Open your mind. Always pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind so that you will be enlightened to see the riches of the glorious inheritance that pertains to your new creation life. 

The new creation is continually being renewed in knowledge until he/she becomes completely like God who created him or her. Until you reflect the glory of God, your Father, never be satisfied with your living condition. Instead, press to see your life change from glory to glory. 

The new creation life undergoes changes from glory to glory. A fall from grace or from glory whatsoever is abnormal in the new creation life. Any Christian who does not desire positive changes has not seen the light of the new creation life. 

Do not allow any person to darken your mind with religion or vain philosophy. Allow the Holy Spirit to be your light to guide you from glory to glory. 

The new creation life is subject to difficulties, however, it has inherent power to overcome the difficulties and to solve problems that arise. 

Do not cower in the face of adversity, instead, build resilience and expand your capacity in the face of adversity.  

The new creation life is always hopeful. It sees light in the dark, strength in the weak and glory in the future and confesses the glory that it sees. 

The new creation life is divine. It is awake and alive to the Spirit. Therefore the new creation is spiritually minded rather than carnally minded. 

If Christ is in you, then you are a new creation. You have the new creation life. You are a spiritual being and so you live and move and have your being in the Holy Spirit. Without him, you can do nothing, but through him, you have inbuilt tenacity and fortitude to be able to do exceeding abundantly, for more than you can think or imagine.
